Instruction for Preparing an Abstract
1.
Abstract must be in English, and include
background, objective, methods, result(s) and conclusion.
The body must not exceed 250 words without any figure and Photo.
2.
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors
in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by
the author.
3.
Abstracts should be prepared by using Microsoft Word with Times New
Roman font and send by E-mail.
4.
Receipt of the abstract will be acknowledged by e-mail within three days.
If the submitter does not receive an acknowledgement e-mail, it must be
re-submitted.
5.
Results will be notified by e-mail at the begining of August, 2010. Accepted
authors will also receive instructions for the presentation at the begining
of September, 2010.
6.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Katakansetsu (The
Shoulder Joint).

The registered abstract title should be no more 20 words. Capitalize the first word.

Symposium
1. Contracture of the shoulder= from basic research to the clinic
(i) It’s best not to exceed an
elevation of 120°.
(ii) Primary and secondary contracture
should be distinguished.
2. Osteoarthrosis of the shoulder
3. Long term follow up of the rotator cuff tear: with minimum follow up of 10 years
(i) Both operated and non-operated
cases would be discussed.
4. Basic research of the shoulder
